At The Bollo, what we cook is governed by what's available in season. There's nothing like eating fresh, home-made dishes in the Summer sun. We've got oodles of benches and awnings for when, inevitably, the English sun gets mercurial.
We've got some zesty salads and pasta dishes that are perfect for al fresco dining in the sunshine. Try the Summer salad or mushroom gnocchi and rabbit ragu.

We believe that to cook well, first you must buy well. That's why you'll often find Elwy Valley Lamb*, day-boat fish, USDA** and RBST*** beef and some very carefully researched wines on our menus.
We put a lot of care and effort (not to mention purple-cheeked argument) into what we sell and we hope it bears fruit. Likewise we're delighted to offer you some of Greene King's finest ales and beers and we're always open to suggestion - if there's a favourite of yours that you'd like to see, please let us know and we'll see what we can do.

___________________________* A thoroughly excellent stock founded on Beulah Hill Ewes, from Daphne's farm in the Elwy Valley in Wales. Daphne's husbandry standards are second to none and we're proud to be one of a very select number of London restaurants taking her lamb - a lamb so excellent they fed it to President Obama at the recent G20 State Dinner.
**The United States Department of Agriculture Grade 1 Beef. These are the herds that take part in the legendary cattle drives. You cannot get a more free--range cow without issuing it a passport and an all expenses paid trip to another continent. And then making it walk there. The tenderness, marbling, and taste of this product are second to none. It’s so tender you can cut it with the handle of your knife. Remember to ask for a new knife afterwards.
*** Rare Breed Survival Trust. Since the RBST was founded we have not lost a native cattle breed in this country. They work tirelessly to preserve and maintain the blood-lines of classically British breeds with a dedication and passion that is admirable.
