A bolthole from the worst excesses of Winter weather, The Bollo has acres of wood panelling and an open fire to warm the chilliest of hearts. Settle in on our sofas and listen to Jack Frost beat his impotent fists in anger against the window panes.
At The Bollo, practically everything is homemade and the menu is entirely governed by what's in season. Our menu majors on hearty, warming dishes over the colder months; Elwy Valley lamb shanks, warming stews & pies. We source our proteins from top-end suppliers and are proud to work with Macken Bros of Turnham Green.

What's on at the Bollo
MONDAY MADNESS: Each Monday a madness takes us and our hand rise, quivering, a marker pen held tightly in the straining mitt, and then BAM! - it smashes down onto the menu and halves all the prices for main courses from 6pm. We try to stop it, but like all afflictions, you get fond of it after a while.
QUIZ NIGHT: Each Wednesday a weirdly charismatic chap saunters into the building and asks a series of mind-bending questions. Its ok though, because he awards the winner a £100 voucher and keeps on giving away free drinks.
THE SUNDAY 'ROAST': Every Sunday without fail, we offer Welsh Elwy Valley Lamb, Scottish Highland Beef, Corn Fed Chicken and a Whole Shoulder of Lamb for 5ish people. We sort of believe that Sunday's are for relaxation, the papers, good food and companionship and that a pub should provide all of them.
